At the foot of Zilākalns is the Zilākalns Cultural History and Visitor Center "ZTornis", which is located in the premises of an ancient water tower and a modern annex. Zilākalns water tower is an "Art Deco" style building, which used to supply water to a peat factory and a village.
In the ZTower you can see the historical exposition about the natural object and the sanctuary “Zilaiskalns”, the village of Zilaiskalns and the industrial heritage object - the water tower. Visitors have the opportunity to rise above Zilaiskalns and look into the historical narrow-gauge railway locomotive with the help of virtual reality.
After visiting the water tower, it is possible to ride a rail bike 2 kilometers along the ancient narrow-gauge railway line. The track bike is adapted to ride 4 people at a time.
